"Clean room and bathroom BUT the carpet smells bad 😞. "

"I didn’t go to the breakfast but my friend did and he said he liked it. Pool was under construction. On my last night there my keys had to be replaced because they weren’t working. Staff was ok, room was clean. Didn’t spend much time in it so good for sleep and showers"

"The staff was friendly. The hallways need to be repainted. The smell was musky mixed with some type of cleaning solution. It was NOT good. Our card reader didn’t work. The staff member said that 103 always has problems, but once she unlocked it she said we shouldn’t have any issues. Our card never worked. We reserved a room for 4 people. We were provided with 3 bath towels and 2 wash clothes. I went to ask for more, and I was told that they may not be able to give me another towel. I simply said that we have 4 people. She came back with the towel and wash clothes. The air conditioner always rattled and never could cool the room properly. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We were not rested at all. The bathroom was terrible. Cracks have been recaulked many times. You can only reach the shower head if you stand on the edge if the tub. The shower water comes out like a jet, so be prepared because you can’t adjust it. When you got out of the shower, there was water pooled all around the toilet. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. There wasn’t any shampoo or conditioner, tissues or hair dryer. We didn’t even want to try their breakfast because we just wanted to leave. This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Hotels.com should remove it from their site. I’ve stayed at LaQuinta’s for the past 30 years and I was truly disappointed. It’s outrageous that they charge so much for subpar accommodations. "

"Great staff. They are kind and very helpful! Rooms are well kept and suitable for a good nights sleep. The naval base can be annoying at Times but you will hear that anywhere you stay in Kingsville"

"Key would not work and instead of offering another room the desk clerk says oh that happens w/that room. Lobby bathrooms not working. Cammodes need to be updated. They are too low especially for an elderly person.The entire hotel looks run down."

"Stayed here on 3/12/26 was originally booked through 3/14/26. Checked out on the 13th because the places made me feel dirty, the room stank and the shower pan had rust in it, the bedding had a blood stain (still RED) I went to the local walmart and bought my own sheets, air freshners and pillow. To top it off when i complained at he front desk all I got was a sorry and your bill is $207.00 Won't be booking another La Quinta again in my entire life!"
