"Great location, central to everything. Very quiet, although it is in the city centre. Close to train and bus stations, tram stops right outside the hotel."
"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. Once I located the keys (2) I brought my car around to park on this wasteland and was met by a couple of males getting their 'ladies' ready for work. The doors in this vacinity were all unmarked and it was anybodies guess as to where the property was. On entering the first door I came to, I was met by a large industrial walk in freezer to my right, and an uneven floor. There were 2 doors one to my left and one straight ahead. I opted for the one to my left. I was met by an awful smell on entering. Within 60 seconds I was out of there, but before I left the premises I pulled back the top bed cover to be confronted with some human waste, on the underside of the top cover. I got out of there fast, not only to escape this hole but I was concerned about my car, just a couple months old. I was in and out so fast I don't recall actually seeing any windows. In all my years of travelling, and I've stayed in some really bad places, this ranks in my top ten of worst places to stay. I didn't stay, obviously, now I'm waiting to see if I actually get a full refund. I contacted the 'host' a number of times, but we'll have to see what transpires with the refund"
