"The stable cottage is roomy with 2 well appointed comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has mostly everything needed although we didn’t cook much during our stay. Since it was very hot it would have been useful to have some ice trays for the freezer. The cottage was quite dusty in places especially the bathrooms. "Very well situated hotel by the Milford Marina and the seafront. Staff were excellent : always happy to help and find a quick solution - of particular mention Grace (reception) and Emma (breakfast restaurant and her team). Breakfast was very well stocked, great variety and good quality produce. Great selection. As we were staying 4 nights, I expected the housekeeping team to replenish the tea/coffee tray daily with supplies but this did not happen at all and I had to ask reception often. Separately, on arrival the shower gel dispenser had not been filled; basic housekeeping check before we arrived would have resolved the matter. Otherwise the daily servicing of the room was of very high standard by the housekeeping team. The hotel had a well equipped gym which was useful as I used it daily, so became obvious that the designated team to keep it refreshed including topping up clean towels and cups for the water cooler were missing the gym totally, as on my 3rd morning I had to ask reception to resolve. They did quickly."
