「Tarbert is such a sweet little town. The castle ruins were magical. The hotel itself - very convenient, easy parking, incredibly nice and very hardworking staff. The meals were SUPERB! The room was in good condition. The bed was a bit on the soft and saggy side. Great view though over the water. Hallways are clearly under ongoing repairs. The dinner dining area is quite nice. 「Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. 「Fantastic stay the shepherds hut, which was much larger than expected and beautifully appointed. The facilities in the hotel are excellent. The restaurant was great and the spa and outdoor pool was fantastic. The massage by the Spanish lady was one of the best I’ve had. We also took the ferry over to Tarbert one afternoon, which was 20 minutes away and just glorious. I’d go back in a heartbeat!」
