"After staying in three previous hotels on this trip this was disappointing. Several things were broken in the room shower base was completely off the wall. The drain hole was exactly that a hole there was no drain stop. One of the bathroom lights was replaced with that it felt like a heating lamp. A bulb in the vanity was missing completely. The main lamp light in the room did not work and the door latch was completely gone. The curtains were dirty and the grounds it self needed to be cleaned. It’s like the more you looked the more things you noticed. I did not feel safe in the neighborhood. Because of the door latch missing I used the room chair to block the door at night. Thankfully this was a one thing we were flying out very early in the morning so we sucked it up. But I would not come back. "

"Our room was filthy upon arrival. Stains in the carpet, couch, curtains, and bed. Definitely needs to maintenance. Air filters were very dusty and hadn’t been checked in a while. Very disappointed after spending a bunch of money for a little family vacation. "

"The grounds of this property are beautiful, set on a picturesque lake with a golf course backdrop. Free fishing, paddle boats and kayaks are available, plus the pool is large and clean. The hotel itself is older and while there has been some remodeling, the rooms still have wall-mount AC units, traditional tubs, and lack a more modern design. However, the bed was comfortable and the rate was a great value. "

"Housekeeping staff came at odd hours, one day they came at 10 am and we were still in our room, they didn't come back until 5 pm which was inconvenient. There was a conference at the resort, and those attendees clearly had preferential treatment. The breakfast restaurant didn't even give us the time of day for over 15 minutes while we were waited to be seated, we had to leave and go somewhere else in town for breakfast. The pool and bar is great. Mostly nice servers, pretty easy to find a lounger. Property is older but has been updated beautifully. Very serene. "

"Staff were very helpful and the beds were clean. However, one of our rooms was missing a microwave and the other had a broken microwave. Cleanliness of the rooms were not great as we found a pile of chips behind the bed, the floors were sticky and there were ants in the bathroom. We did use the pool but the hot tubs were not working and you had to pay $5/per person to use the slide. Overall the price was low so you get what you pay for."
