"There were only two highlights to this resort. The pool is very nice with a poolside bar and you can order food. No hot tub though. The casino offers a buffet restaurant and there is plenty to choose from at $25pp. The rest of this resort is poor. They say smoking and non smoking areas in the casino but the casino is one big room and smoke is everywhere. The rooms are a basic hotel room with paper thin walls. You hear everything and I mean everything going on in the hallway and the room next to you. There is nothing to do in this area. You have to travel at least an hour to find something to kill at least an hour of adventure. I would not recommend staying here or anywhere within a couple hours of this place. Maybe travel much further west beyond Scranton. "

"Phone did not work, stains on the sheets, tub very slippery. The breakfast “included” was the worst thing I have ever come across for a hotel breakfast. Stereos were not lit, hot food just tepid;juice machine in pieces and not working, basic bread for toast. No bagels,peanut butter,jelly. Tiny little muffins. All the same flavor. Will not stay here again. There is a best western right next to this days inn. "

"The breakfast was good. We got there half an hour before it ended and it was still hot and plenty to choose from. The staff was friendly. The room was good other than the bathroom. The shower was hard to adjust and the drain was damaged."

"The breakfast on the first day had stale wheat bread. On the second it was white bread but at least it was fresh. The eggs and sausage were alright."

"To be completely honest split Rock is really outdated and in need for upgrades. For one the water that comes out of the room faucets is kinda yellow. The furniture was kind of falling apart. The movie theater played the movie and everything just shut down Midway with no explanation why. The pool tables in the billiards room are all broken up. The parking lot has holes throughout so expect a bumpy ride when around the property. There is no food options during the week at all. Was kind of disappointed Will probably not be back here but if you're looking for a cheap place...... go for it. "
