"I had a great experience staying at this hotel in San Salvador. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming—everyone I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was genuinely helpful throughout my stay. One of the things I really appreciated was the historic feel of the hotel. It adds a unique charm that you don’t get with more modern places, and it made the stay feel more memorable. The gym was another highlight for me. It’s spacious and well-equipped with plenty of machines, which made it easy to keep up with my workouts while traveling. Overall, the service really stood out. "My take on the room… There was a separate/private room, but unfortunately it was very hard to sleep there. And the room had a very strong, unpleasant odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in. The bed near the sliding door felt unstable (tilted), the pillows were very hard. Service was okay, but it could easily be improved. For the price you pay per night, I expected a higher level of comfort and attention to detail. At check-out, no one asked how the stay was, I had to bring it up myself. That kind of customer service really makes a difference. I would love to recommend this place because the setting is beautiful, but these details should definitely be addressed. "
