"The bathroom had a pretty funky smell that never went away, and it seemed that their answer was to put a tiny bag of potpourri next to the toilet, but it could have used a more thorough cleaning. "We had an amazing time at this hotel. We would return for sure. The outdoor onsen is beautiful and even thought there were other guests in the hotel, we were the only one using them, so it was quite relaxing. The staff members were so welcoming and friendly, the food was just impeccable. At breakfast time until we left, there was a pianist playing the piano. He was fabulous. We loved everything!! "

The check-in was smooth, and they worked with me and my choppy Japanese. The room was fantastic, spacious and had a great view. The onsen was very clean and relaxing. The dinner buffet, added on for 990¥, was truly over the top, everything I could want including the local maguro in various forms. Rented a bike for 200 to go around town for a little while, and got a lot of help transferring my luggage to Tokyo. Switching to this hotel was a great decision"
