Overall good

The friendly and helpful staff added to the beautiful setting, quality onsen water, and amazing view.

Wonderful place to relax. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Great buffet!

There are many hotels to choose from in the Kirishima area, but I selected Pulse Kirishima because it's only about a 5-minute drive from Kirishima Jingu, making it a great base for sightseeing. I highly recommend booking a room in the Renovated Wing. We stayed in a Superior Room, and it was well worth it. The renovated wing is much closer to the lobby, restaurant, pool, and onsen, making it very convenient. The view from our room was stunning. However, if you're visiting during the summer, keep...

It was a wonderful place to stay because of the views, hot springs, food, and people. I will be there again!

Besides of the clean room and staffs'

I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination.

The room was small, but extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly. I will stay here again if I come back to Kirishima!

This hotel had a spacious room for three people and outstanding guests door and outdoor onsen bathes. I highly recommend this hotel. We plan to stay there on our next trip.

Staff was very nice, rooms were as seen in pictures. Great stay!

I liked the tea bags provided for free in the room.

This place is literally heaven. It’s very luxurious. The staff is amazing. The food is impeccable. The chef literally changes the menu every day every morning every night. The most amazing thing was my room. It was incredible. It had an outside hot Springs the living room the bathroom and the private sauna is just amazing super clean super super clean. We were there for three days and had a beautiful relaxing time. The facility was amazing. The only reason I didn’t give the place the highest rating was because the food was just okay.

Really clean, quiet and comfortable! Definitely will choose a “Yard9” hotel again!
