The facility was old, worn out and outdated. But the worst is the staff’s attitude. They simply don’t care nor support.

Very quiet neighborhood, the receptionist gave me a corner room with two sides big windows. Super Mountain View for my lovely two days stay. Next door with a restaurant which I didn’t have chance to try yet. Several buses are just in walking distance. Truly recommend the travelers if with budget.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Distance to the MRT station is a bit far, 10 minutes walk, alternatively you can take a bus, the bus stop is just across the road.

The plus: The decorations were nice. Hotel was clean rooms were decent size. Air conditioner was strong. Water pressure was good. Breakfast buffet food wasn’t bad wasn’t good. The bad: front staff was the worst I’ve experienced. Feels as if they weren’t trained at all. They knew we were waiting for early check in for more than six hours and told them we were waiting over by the lounge. I had went to ask if the rooms were ready for the tenth time and they looked through a paper stack that was delivered forty mins ago, I know bc I was watching the whole time. They had the nerve to lie to my face and say it was just ready. Seven staff memebers doing nothing as the hotel was not busy. Left a very sour taste in my mouth. Will not be staying here again.

Great hotel, the room is super clean and big. The breakfast is not enough choices but the taste is good. The transportation is not that convenient.

Clean and quiet with appetising breakfast and friendly, efficient staff. Decor were tastefully done without overwhelming. Location is slightly out for those who prefer immediate metro access. Would be good if It offers dinner. The rooms were not bright enough for us.

Not worth the price tag
As it was our last night at Taiwan we decided to spend extra on what we thought was a 4.5 star hotel. We drove in with a rental car and was confused at where to park, there was no doorman. We had no help with our luggage despite there being a trolley available in plain view with 3 staff members at the desk with no other guests around other than us at the time. No upgrade available. Sofa bed uncomfortable. We wanted to have a nice dinner at the hotel but found out that the restaurant doesnt open for dinner and were told to venture to a nearby noodle store. Only one lift in operation. You get locked out of the room at checkout time on the dot with a reminder call from reception to get out, which we didnt appreciate as I had to make several trips to the car to load our luggage waiting for the one lift. To be honest, we had much better service from several BnBs we stayed at throughout Taiwan and a fraction of the cost.

The room is comfortable and the staff was friendly. It is not near a MET station so it is Not easy to get to unless you take a taxi. However, it is only 7 minutes walk from the hospital (內湖三軍總醫院)where we needed to be so I was really thrilled about that. Overall, it was a good stay!

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Since there's not much cons I have for La Maison Hotel, so I am gonna talk about the disadvantage first. The only cons for this hotel is the LOCATION. It's far away from the MRT station, so it's best for people who drive or taking UBER and Taxi. And there're not too many stores around the hotel either. Other than the location issue, everything is PERFECT. Super comfy, nice service, and there're some free snacks and drinks prepared in the room. I would love to stay here again next time :) So it's highly recommended for travelers who doesn't care about the location too much.

Although the location is not very convenient, we also can enjoy slience and peaceful in moment . therefore, it's suitable to backpackers, business visitors and who drive a car comes here. Nice hotel but far from everything.
Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff but very far from the center therefore a lot of fees on taxi or longuet hours on public transportation. Breakfast was terrible.

Beautiful and clean hotel.
Everything is good except the location has no nearby food outlets. We arrived late and the restaurant is already closed by 2.30 pm. Nearest convenience shop is 15 mins walk. Everything was lovely about the hotel. It would have been perfect if there were some dining around the area.

Nice hotel but inconvenience
Bathroom sink & bath tub stuck with water everyday, water can't drawn, housekeeping to fix them every morning, location not very closed to tourists area/places have to take taxi. Hotel called taxi to give me ride to airport, taxi driver didn't use meters (I didn't know, hotel staff also never told me taxi won't use meters) & taxi driver charge me 2000TPE = 65 USD at Taipei airport, such a rip off. I took taxi from Taipei airport to hotel was only 1300TPE = 38 USD, make sure if you call taxi from hotel, ask the front desk if the taxi driver will use meters or how much they'll charge.

Exceptional European style hotel
Loved my experience at this hotel. Staff was attentive and kind. Rooms were beautiful. I changed my initial reservation to cancel my last night and the staff/manager was accommodating. In the end, I returned to the hotel and extended my stay because the accommodations as a whole were far better than my other plans. I’d definitely return to La Maison and recommend this hotel to friends/family.

Be aware of the issues with the toilet
It would have been a very nice stay with La Maison wasn't the toilet clogged twice for just one night stay. The toilet has very little suction force to flush solid waste. It was an embarrassing experience.

unfortunate
the people next door were loud until 3am. not a staff or hotel problem. just something that happens from time to time. banged on the wall, not adjustment. banged again. they went on as if nothing happened. so room 1105, i am not a fan of whoever you are and whomever you had in your room saturday night.
