Great place!
Incredible stay! I stayed here my first night and my last 2 nights in Taiwan and the staff were so hospitable, especially the owner. This is one of my favorite streets in Taipei so I truly lucked out with finding a clean and well-maintained hotel on the oldest street in Taipei.

It’s located along dihua street which is good for a cultural stroll but at the very end of the street hence it is extremely quiet at night when the shops are closed. Quite distance away from the metro datouqiao. Walkable to ningxia night market and zhong shan station like 15-25 mins. I landed late due to flight delay and saw the message from the hotel asking me when I’ll be checking in. I replied messages on Expedia to the hotel but there was no reply from them or so. The entrance was locked when I arrived and there was no instructions given. Apparently the friend desk ends their shift at 8pm. If it wasn’t my Taiwanese friend who happened to be there to call to ask, I guess I’m gonna be stranded there along the shoplot corridor, at night, 10°C. I stayed at the highest level (level 4 in fact). I took a lift up to level 3, then walked up the staircases to (I believe it was an open air balcony and they renovated it to rooms) my room carrying the luggage which was quite a nightmare as I wasn’t expecting staircases when it stated it has lift. Room is smaller than the images shown. The bed is adjacent to the bathroom (wall to wall). Soundproof isn’t good. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place

Trendy area
Room was way too small. Clean and comfoetanle but very small. The hotel was in a trendy little area but plenty of restaurants and markets for shopping or food. There are four floors but a lift for only three floors. You have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the fourth floor from the third.

AWESOME stay
Awesome place, highly recommend... smaller place, maybe 12 units total. SUPER nice people... be aware that their English is not the best, but there was never any issues. on a street which was super busy on weekend with lot of street markets and stuff. Main touristy area was maybe a mile away, shorter walk to see the river.

Full of characters
The hotel only has six (6) rooms and they are small, so don't come here for business trip. Other than that, it is perfect, everything is well maintained, clean, neat and tidy. At first I arrived at night and thought the side street where the hotel is located is dark and old, but in the morning I realized it is full of characters, not like your average modern hotels. It is very close to MTR so you can go anywhere you like, and the night market is within walking distance. One more thing, the staffs are super friendly, definitely will come here again.

DG Hotel fits in perfectly with the ambiance of Dihua Street. It almost deserves to be a tourist attraction in its own right. Good choice for a repeat visit the next time we're in Taipei.

So happy I found this hotel in Taipei. Enjoyed everything about it. The rooms were excellent, staff were great and not too far from an MRT line. Would absolutely stay again in the future.

Would highly recommend!
Outstandng service. I arrived to late and hungry to go out on my own to find food. The staff knocked on my door 15 minutes after checkin with a hot plate of spaghetti!! Room was cozy and bathroom and shower are modern and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and served in an atmospheric setting. Definitely recommend for your trip to taipei.

部屋は若干狭いですが、寝る分には充分で綺麗です。浴室に乾燥機能があるので洗濯物も乾かしやすいです。フロントは24時間人が居ませんが必要最低限の設備は用意されているので困る事は少ないかと思います、

評価がよかったので2泊しましたが、私にはあいませんでした。 ・台北駅からはアクセスが悪い ・エレベーターのない部屋がある ・毎日掃除されない ・フロントが必要な時いない ・荷物を預かってもらえない 今回は台北駅拠点とは思っていなかったので多少めんどくさいのは承知でしたが、やっぱり面倒でした。 バスを乗りこなせればいいですが（4分くらいのところにある）、大橋駅まではエレベーター、エスカレーターのない入口が一番近く、そこからまたかなり歩くのでグーグルマップ通り7分くらいな感覚です。もし、エレベーターに乗りたかったら反対側の出口のA1からになります。 荷物が少なかったり軽ければそこまで気にならないです。 私はシングルの部屋でしたが、3階まではエレベーターがあるのですが、4階の4つくらいの部屋にあたると狭い階段を上る必要があり重いスーツケースだと大変です。チェックインの際は先に預けていたので部屋においておいてくれました。 最初からフロントは8AM~8PMとなっていたので承知の上だったのですが、2日目に戻ると部屋がまったく掃除されておらず、8時PMすぎていたのでフロントの人がいなくて聞くこともできず翌日聞いたら、金曜日は従業員の休みだから掃除ができないとのことでした。なので2泊なのに、お水やお茶の補充もなく、タオルも変えてもらえず水浸しの足ふきをそのまままたつかうことに。掃除をしないなら2日分おいsておいてほしかったし記載しておくべきですね。 ちなみに一応緊急電話番後はフロントにありますが、言葉の壁があるので結構厳しいなと思いました。 また、最終日のチェックアウトした際9時頃だったのですがフロントに人がいない。カフェが併設しているのでカフェの店員がいて連絡をとってもらいました。荷物を18～19時くらいまで預かってほしいといったのですが、マネージャーがフロントは17時までだから16時までしかダメと言われた、と翻訳ソフトで見せてきました。 フロントは20時まででは？と聞いたのに無理だの一点張り。しょうがないので17時に戻ってくるようにするといって荷物を預けましたが、そこにおいておくだけで、カフェも20時までなのに矛盾しまくり。 戻ってきた際、フロントの人がいたので聞くと、チェックアウト後の荷物の責任はない、と翻訳ソフトで言われたので、チェックアウト後の荷物は数時間ならよいけど、基本預けられないと思っていたほうがいいです。 また、フロントは多少の英語は通じますがそこまで英語も通じず、翻訳機でやりとりすることになります。 お部屋ですが、シングルは本当に狭く、アメニティは一応ありますが、リンスがないです。 お水も1本のみ。タオルもバスタオルとフェイスタオルのみなので手をふきたいなどあれば持参推奨。 使い捨てスリッパはありました。 また、お風呂は水浸しになるので、ビーサンなどサンダルをもってったほうがいいです。 あと、シャワーの調節が難しく、真ん中くらいにしないとお湯が出ない仕様でした。 総じて私は運が悪かったのか、合わないホテルでしたが、ゆったり、のんびり迪化街を見たいなどであればよいのかと思います。 こぎれいではあります。近くには夜市もあってそれはなかなかよかったです。 もう一つ、昼間は人通りありますが、夜はあまりないので、夜遅く帰ってくるときはちょっと怖いので、女性一人の夜遊び予定がある場合もおすすめできません。 20時くらいならぎりぎりいいかなという感じです。 たくさん書きましたが参考になればと思います。

整體環境舒適，用餐區環境清幽讓人放下煩惱享受一頓活力早餐，房間乾淨整潔，雙人床寬敞讓人一覺到亮。 唯獨早餐的飲品讓人失望，鳳梨汁和桑汁與白開水沒有什麼分別，黑咖啡很普通。

買い物や観光に便利なロケーションながら、おしゃれで静かな最高の立地です。スタッフはみんな親切に対応してくれました。問題はバスルームで、シャワー浴びると水でビシャビシャになります。またバスルームが半透明なのでカップルでないと厳しい。総合点は高いのですが、バスルームが気になりました。

部屋は広いし清潔。エアコンや浴室乾燥機のスイッチ横に英語で各ボタンの説明が貼ってあった。TVのリモコンの電池がなくフロントで交換してもらったがそれも切れていた。掃除の時に電池チェックして欲しい。 便利な場所だが難点はタクシーが捕まえにくい。

4泊の滞在で２度朝食をいただきましたが、大変美味しゅうございました。 部屋は清潔で使いやすかったですが、２人で利用するには手狭でしたので、一人利用でない場合は広い部屋をお勧めします。
