Very convenient location for our tour which starts at the Songshan train station and is easy walking distance to the hotel. The MRT station and the night market entrance is right across the street and there are several banks next to the hotel. The room is clean but a bit small and we like the breakfast that is included. The only knock is that there is no space in the lobby to hang out for the group and the dining area is closed off for access after lunch.

A night stay for a short trip in Taipei. I always book this business hotel as it offers good location and amenities.

Good to stay if you like to visit night market
We just stayed there for one night for a quick transit, so the room we chose was very small and it’s at the corner. Basically if you have big luggages, you won’t be able to open. The good part is that it has a heating system in the bathroom, and it is in Very good location, right next to the night market.

Very closed & convenient to Raohe Night Market. Front Desk, concierge staffs we’re very efficient, Bank was right next door to with Taiwanese Dollar. Closed to MRT, which is good. Whenever I enter my room, smelled mold or bad odor, I think it’s from the Carpet. I suggest to remove it. I requested disable room, which was excellent with shower chair, hand rails around shower, toilet and hand sink areas. Very safe for disabled person. Shower water was big and hot was really good. But hand sink has no hot water and very small water flow. I thought that’s purposed to save water, until I couldn’t stand the tiny water flow, and complained, they fixed it with special screw driver , then the faucet with good hot water and flow. But I already stayed 7 days only two days left. Breakfast included is good. Varieties of food is good but too too greasy. Cook should save oil expenses. They are quick on my request. I recommend this hotel to travelers. I will come again if carpet replaced with any other material like synthetic wood, not necessary expensive kind. No bad smell is great hotel.

We were at arrived early in the morning. Staffs were organised for us to check in before the actual check in time. We are very happy to stay at Capital Hotel Songshan. Service are good, clean room, connivence to public transport. Walking distance to day & night markets, restaurants and shops. I would recommend Capital Hotel Songsgan to any travellers.

While the service, location, and condition of the hotel were excellent, we were constantly plagued by bad smells from the toilet. Furthermore, there were constantly people smoking in the hotel, which I'm quite sure is prohibited.

Property is within close walking distance to the Song Shan train station and Rou he night market. Helpful staff. Downside was that the carpet floors were not cleaned and the room size was a tad smaller. Overall, I may still consider to stay here again if the price is right.

Great service in an great location.
Capital Hotel provides everything I needed during my stay. Breakfast was served every morning and the option for meals throughout the day from the in house restaurant were also available. The MRT and the Rahoue night market are literally across the street. There is also a city link mall that boasts plenty of restaurants within walking distance (approx 5 min). The hotel also hand washing machines that cost NT$ 50 each which was also available from the front desk. Great service with good food in an excellent location at a bargain price. Highly recommend.

Many wall receptacles for charging mobile devices at the ssme time are great. Room is too small and a only small desk is occupied by a TV. If the hotel can put the TV on the wall, the small desk can be saved to act like a desk. The breakfast was ok but not great.

Great hotel but cheap on milk
What I liked: (1) Within a radius of three-minute walk from the hotel, there are two 7-11 shops, one POYA shop, three banks, one subway station, one night market and one car rental company! (2) Free, underground car parking (3) Sound proof room. We heard absolutely nothing in the room despite of the fact that our windows are facing out to a busy road. (4) The coffee machine in the breakfast area is great. It takes in roasted coffee beans at the top and out comes distilled coffee at the spout. What I disliked (1) Fresh milk was out on the coffee machine in the breakfast area. At first, I thought that it just happened to be out at that time on that day so I asked a waitress to refill the coffee machine with it. To my disappointment and shock, she said that it was her boss’s idea to leave the milk out to save on cost!
