It was a really nice comfortable room. The bathroom was nice with a bathtub by a window with a city view.

Mold alert!
Please do something about the mold! The hotel itself and service would be great otherwise, but entering our room I smelled something weird. Later on, I discovered that the entrance door and walls around are covered with mold, probably because of the bathroom next to them, where there was no proper ventilation. It is not healthy! We stayed 8 nights, the cleaning is on-demand which is a clever solution, but our sheets were not changed the entire time. Overall it is still a positive experience, the staff is super kind, and we would stay again in a mold-free room.

POOR HOTEL ROOM
DO NOT RENT THIS HOTEL. We went in late Dec stay at Room 506. The hotel room air conditioner thermostat is not working. The room is freezing at 18°C. The hotel staff said that not able to fix and reject to provide any heater . The light switch is also not working, so it cannot turn off, aftee many complaints so the hotel staff use some type and card to cover it. This is not acceptable. We did not expect to stay in a room which not suppose to rent out. Poor staff service. They not helping us with the AC issue. Construction site next to the hotel.

The whole building smalls like cigarette, some light switches are broken in the room, clogged shower drainage that almost cost flooding in the bathroom. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel, there are plenty of options nearby.

Very friendly staff, but an older property on a very busy street. Very reasonable accommodations nonetheless, rooms are quiet and clean. Hope they replace the carpeting someday soon. ;)

Place is neat and near to the train station. However, housekeeping was lacking as there were a couple of days in which the trash was not cleared even though they provided new towels and made the bed.

The staffs were so nice and friendly to us. We had a problem with using electricity before we checked out. They were so sorry about it, and then they prepared cookies when I checking out. It was so thankful and appreciated it.

Excellent stay in Taipei
We could not have asked for better accommodations for our first-ever Taipei trip. The location was awesome and, for an extremely busy street, our room was unbelievably quiet, basically soundproofed. I particularly loved the bathroom design (complete with heated mirror to eliminate fogging from the shower) and the breakfast was fantastic.

Very comfortable and accomodating.
Great stay. It's a bit of a walk from the MRT, but otherwise it's wonderful. I would especially recommend it to visitors from outside of Taiwan because the room comes equipped with a smart phone with complimentary phone calls and 4G data. The bed was literally 8 ft wide!

Great and good value hotel
Very new rooms and very clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We left a bag of clothes and a portable air ioniser in one of our rooms and hotel found both and arranged to return them to us.

Excellent !! Friendly staff,and the room is big comparing to other hotels in Taipei! The design of their bathroom is very nice!

Nice room and toilet. Spacious for Taipei and located in center of city so traveling by taxi or bus east or west is convenient. Not a lot of shops around the hotel as it seems to be in a business area. Will stay again in the future.

Comfortable Stay
A very comfortable stay near the station. Room was clean and comfortable, with good toiletries. Not sure if it was because I didn't know how to use the TV but I could only access a few channels which looked like it was streamed online. Breakfast was a simple spread, with a mix between Asian and Western variety.

Nice accommodating staff! Clean hotel
The staff were so accommodating and allowed me to check in earlier to attend and prepare for a wedding. The mini bar is free which is great. They also prepared free paper masks for guests too which is very thoughtful! The hotel is clean and very convenient . I didn't manage to try the free coffee at the lobby as the offering times are from 1030am-830pm at night which for most of the time we were out. Look forward to going back to Taipei and staying at this hotel!

Comfortable stay at U Hotel.
Staff were friendly. Room size is good, nice decorations. Spacious bath and shower area, comfortable bed and pillows. Minor drawbacks: Main door not soundproof, neighbours going in and out were noticeable. For business travellers, lighting is too dim. Breakfast taste so so.

Didn't get a good room of executive type. Was here before which was much better, that is why this trip I booked 4 nights. Disappointed. Breakfast too simple, not recommend. Soundproof is good. Recommend to stay with discount rate only.

Excellent new hotel with good location
New hotel with good infrastructure, 3 mins walk to MRT station, easy access to other locations; front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. We are lucky to get free upgrade. Happy to stay again for our next travel
