"Convenient and affordable updated facilities. It is fairly no frills but provided all essentials. Bathroom ceilings above the shower/Tubs have visible mold growth. Otherwise very clean. Bed was definitely on the firmer side but not entirely uncomfortable. Staff was always friendly and happy to assist however they can. Would definitely recommend."
"Very clean place, friendly and helpful staff. We missed our hotel breakfast as the wait for a seat was too long. The hotel offered to a packed breakfast, we didn’t take it, and"

Can’t wait to visit again!!!"
"Now catering for my unique dietary requirements is always painful for most accommodation, I don’t eat garlic, shallots, chives and asafoetida. Surprisingly, the breakfast buffet provided by Mellow Fields had too many suitable options to pick from. For this reason alone, I will stay with it again. The facilities were pretty aged and room layout was not the best in the industry, particularly if you were expecting an Instagram-friendly place. But I slept well while at Mellow Fields and I was a light sleeper, this aspect beat many other places of similar pricing."
"This is a brand new hotel, everything is in good quality. My room is spacious, spotless and with a view of the mountains. Bed is super comfortable. Their unique check-in style is very welcoming: we were invited to the salon room immediately upon arrival and started to enjoy the complementary treats. The receptionist came to our table to complete the check-in process and explained all the details to us. Their public hot springs have 3 pools (hot, warm and cold) and are super clean. There are also steam and sauna rooms. They provide free fruits, milk and tea in the hot spring room. On top of these mentioned, their staff are very friendly and helpful. Julie chatted with us when we were enjoying the complementary happy hour at the guest salon room. She provided us local food and attractions information. Vincent helped us with our luggage. We’re very happy with our staying and will definitely come back again."
"We were not expecting this place to be as great as it is. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants were unexpectedly good with great food and views of the mountain. The onsen was a great experience. Just be prepared to have your Western views about nudity challenged (the onsen is nude only. No bathing suits allowed). Just one thing, the staff will tell you the in-suite onsen takes 20-ish minutes to cool down to a temperature that won't scald you. It was closer to an hour. "
