What a wonderful stay with The Guesthouse The staff was helpful, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly Rooms were well cared for, staff willing to provide extra towels, toiletries when needed and we had everything we needed and more for an 11 day stay Kim kept us laughing and was good at suggesting food, travel and sightseeing tips! We would 100% stay again if back in Tain A huge thanks to all who made our trip very memorable Dorothy and clan!

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Jackie. Had so much in common. Our room was beautiful. Wonderful ceiling details and a beautiful fireplace. We absolutely fell in love with the Tain area, and loved all of Jackie‘s recommendations, including Dunrobin Castle, and the cathedral in Dornoch.

Excellent accomodation in Tain

Excellent accomodation. A cooked breakfast, as an option, would have been nice, but the continental-style breakfast was as good as it gets. Lots of fresh fruit, coissants and yoghurts. We were in three cars, and all three were able to be parked off the street. There were other guests with cars, and they also were able to park off the street. Bedroom was large (as seen in the photo), and shower room was very good. We ate at Green's Resaurant in the town. It was expensive , but the food was superb.

Fantastic accommodation. Very comfortable and large room. Shower was on the smaller side but hot with good water pressure. Loved continental breakfast.

We only stayed for a night but everything was fine. Nice old house on the edge of the town. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.

This was such a wonderful over night stay in Tain. Our room was spacious, with en suite and had a bed that was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! Check in was quick and efficient. I will stay here again!

A lovely cute stay in Tain

We had a lovely stay at this guest house. Clean and cozy twin bed room with all the things needed for our short stay. Easy check-in and best of all was the breakfast with fresh fruit and good coffee and a very attentive host who made sure we weren’t missing anything. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Lovely welcoming and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended. No dinner on site but the host recommended a restaurant 6 miles down the road - one of the best meals we have had for years. Great breakfast. All in all we would definitely stay again when in the area.

This property was ideal for our one night stay on our way up to the Orkneys. Jacki was discreet, but communicated well and the room was clean, well maintained and all the necessary amenities were provided. Breakfast was a well balanced & good selection, catering for varied needs. We would certainly come again to visit.
