「Amazing historic cabin on a great property. There is a rec room, laundry, and firepit all within a short walking distance. Also TWO trails on site. We travel a ton and this cabin had the best “notebook” of anywhere we have stayed. To a of local information, cool history of the cabin, and helpful tips for this historical space! The only thing to be cautious of is the only bed is up a ladder style staircase that is very steep. They note this in the listing, so it wasn’t a huge surprise but...

「This property is very clean and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. I give this property 5-Stars because it was tremendous value and met trip needs perfectly. The house is close to Cherokee and to several white-water rafting companies on the Nantahala River. One thing to note: be prepared to be unplugged. I loved it, but it took a minute for my wife and kids to accept that there is no internet or ATT cell service. No emails, no phone calls, no texts. Perfect for me, but maybe not...
