"We eventually ended up with a stunning cabin but were made to fight for it. We were initially given a cabin with absolutely no view and only after repeated back and forth with showing them the booking with pictures did they give us the right cabin. This wasted a lot of time which we were short on. So be aware that there are cabins with poor views and if you get this then this place is a waste of time. Else it could be spectacular. "

"Traveled with my daughter to Svolvær. We had a balcony room which I would say is a must, far better to be able to relax above the water and watch the boats go by than to look over a parking lot. The room and en suite were both comfortable and spacious enough that the two of us did not feel cramped. I would love to know what the mattresses were made of. Throughout Norway all of them were the same three inch thick material but immensely comfortable. Seemed like a very green choice. The staff was welcoming and helpful during check in and out and any time we had a question. We ate the breakfast buffet once, it had extensive fresh and delicious choices, well worth the price. Overall A+ accomidations."

"The front desk clerk, Joseph, was very helpful. The hotel property was great. We were here off season, but still loved the area. Many of the shops were closed because we got in late on a Saturday but the Mix was open. We hiked nearby and took advantage of Joseph’s restaurant recommendation the Fiskekrogen which was excellent. I strongly recommend the fish soup. "

"Charging for when you are staying there is insane. 2 times we came for dinner and the restaurant was closed because of private functions and this was not communicated until you came for dinner. "
