This is a great place to stay for a long visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast buffet. A perfect location for local shopping, food and a beautiful walk at the lake.

Lovely hotel, felt very modern and luxurious but welcoming. Lovely apartment (on 17th floor) with amazing modern cityscape views with lake... Spacious living room (with kitchenette) and bedroom with sizeable attractive ensuite with bath as well as walk in shower. Breakfast in hotel restaurant very impressive for range of items and choice of Western as well as Eastern cuisine... the hotel manager and his wife were there every day, spoke excellent English and were very welcoming so it was a real family atmosphere. All other staff were also very friendly and helpful, and room service cleaning was excellent. Lovely attractive quiet local area with convenience stores, restaurants, easy access to the local metro for plenty of sightseeing options, and beautiful lakeside walks on the doorstep. We stayed for two weeks, would love to visit again.

Great lake view

Excellent hotel. View is great, eateries across the road. But you would prefer to have a car to stay here. The breakfast is good and the room is spacious and modern. For the price, is a steal. But make sure you get the room with view of the lake.

We had a lake-facing 2-bedroom unit. The unit is spacious, very functional. Small kitchen with cutlery & necessary pots & pans. Only lacking dishwashing liquid & sponge. Lots of dustbins in the unit. Bathtub is good after a tiring day. No iron board & iron in the utility room. 2 bedrooms, the king-sized bed is huge, can fit 3 teens! Love it. There is an additional but very functional & spacious study room that can sleep 1 pax on the long sofa. Utility room in the master room can fit 2 opened luggage. Lots of drawer & cabinet space. Washer & dryer comes in handy. Good TV channels. Only the front desk & doormen aren’t friendly. Front desk female staff is very stern with no eye contact. Breakfast spread is average but there is nice, hot noodles freshly prepared. No freshly made omelette. Young service staff in cafe here are not enthusiastic or approachable. Speedy check-in & check-out. No maps of Suzhou available at front desk, which is not helpful for tourists who want to visit places of interests. Simple gym, efficient enough. Clean & cozy environment, quiet & safe. Can walk over to the lake/park for a jog & fresh air. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Suzhou. My family likes it very much. However, one needs to call a taxi or drive here. It’s outskirt without a mall or supermarket. We can still do with this:)) Really a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel in the industrial/tech/education area

I picked this hotel because of the spacious layout of the condo/residence style. I stayed in a one bedroom-style suite with a sofa. It is more than sufficient for my party of 3. The area is about 20 km from downtown Suzhou but right at where I had a conference. Breakfast is nice according to my family. Room is a condo/residence. It has a kitchen sink, washing machine (that we didn’t use), nice bahtroom and blackout curtain. As per usual in China, staffs don’t speak much English except the manager. But they are really helpful though (help calling taxi, getting ice, verifying the charge). Very great 3-night stay in this part of Suzhou.
