The place is functional, spacious, and clean. The staff at reception were all very nice and helpful. Sadly, the lack of blackout curtains and AC unit being only in the living room (not bedroom, although you can leave the door open I guess) were key negatives for me. All the extras are charged - be it pool towels or even a half an hour checkout extension - all of that takes away from a pure relaxing experience. Also felt it was expensive for what it was

Absolutely loved our stay at Noosa River Retreat. Beautiful room, well decorated with a homely feel and clean as a whistle. The service at reception by Geoff & Kate was perfect. Very welcoming. When we arrived instructions for getting our key out of reception hours were very clear and easy ro follow and the map provided for finding our apartment was great. The apartment was very modern and exceptionally clean. There was gentle music playing in our apartment when we arrived which added a lovely touch to our welcome. The apartment was very well stocked with kitchen utensils etc which was great on the nights we had chosen to self cater. Great parking at the property and the property is very well located only a short drive or walk away from the centre. The property is situated beside a busy main road which makes it really easy to travel to places but the traffic can be noisy. We knew this when we booked and it never bothered us at all. The pool area was great and very clean. We would definitely stay again.
