The friendliest place I've stayed in a long time. The common areas are a perfect mix of relaxed in atmosphere and comfortable for the minute you sit down. Absolute gem. Recommended for travellers who love an eclectic mix of people and the possibility of work around Noosa or bargain cars being offloaded. This joint had personality in spades.

The hostel is nice enough but the room was very basic and for $150 not great value but i guess that's Noosa prices for you.

The accommodation was fantastic as a backpackers hostel, but the initial description did not describe it as one. Towels weren’t provided and on-site parking wasn’t available. However, the staff were fantastic and really accommodating, and when finding out my partner and I weren’t from the area, they told us some fantastic hot spots and were really helpful with any request/query we had.

Basic cheap and dirty

Booked on expedia knew it was cheap and basic did not realise a backpackers. No reception staff after 6pm. Arrived key left out place so dark had trouble locating room. No towels apparently you can hire but as office closed had no towels , no soap. The mattress protector was blood stained.

I have been charged twice for this. Not only was there problems even booking wotif had the wrong date and then was trying to tell me it was my fault) I then only had 1 room not 2. Money had been taken from my account and then I still had to pay again when I got there. Very bad business.

The room was not large and the plywood panel lining made it feel smaller. Panelling also hold fluff and could use a clean. Poor sound insulation in walls and ceiling. If your room has common wall with bathrrom you will hear plumbing noise all night. If you chose the room based on internet photo that is has a TV and a built in cupboard you will be disappointed. "Quality bedding" is advertised but quilt set and fitted sheet is well used. No top sheet. Bathroom and shared kitchen are OK. If you are happy with poor sound attenuation, poor asthetics at budget price, close to Noosa Junction this is your pick.

It was not good value relative to motels we've stayed at. For the same price other accommodation included tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridges & microwaves in room. There were also no hooks, cupboards or drawers for clothing.

Dolphins Beach House is excellent value for money. I stayed in a Double Room with ensuite with air con and TV. Access to a kitchen downstairs. The beach was only a 5 minute walk past a variety of cafes and boutique shops. Its in a lovely neighbourhood too. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
