Beachcomber on the Spit is a very good place for a getaway near the beach. It is close to shops, restaurants and a supermarket, and a car is not necessary. It is a well cared for complex with very helpful on-site managers. It is also very quiet, especially during the week. I would happily stay here again especially for a winter getaway.

Great location, spacious apartment.

We loved our stay at Beachcomber. It’s in a great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars at the wharf and a short walk to the main strip. We stayed in a bottom level 2 bed, 2 bath unit which was really spacious with a large paved courtyard out front. Barbecue, outdoor table and sun lounges in the courtyard we’re great. Full kitchen with cooking facilities. It was only a few steps down from the courtyard to the beach entrance, or out to the beachside walkway. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of space. The Manager was very helpful with great communication, made check in very easy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location is excellent, right near the beach, and close to cafes & restaurants. The property is a little dated and some rooms have the bare minimum in terms of furnishings, but everything was clean and the basics were covered. The TVs / access to Foxtel, etc. could be improved.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beach is just a quick 100 walk through the dunes, and shops and cafes are a pleasant 500m walk along the beach or boardwalk. The Spit is our favourite holiday location, and The Beachcomber is one of the better apartments. We will be back.

It is a great position in Mooloolaba, so handy to the beach and everything, no need for the car once you arrive.

The aircon in the master bedroom wasn't working so we had to move the baby cot to the other room. Excellent location, beach is 2 mins walk from the back entrance and the rooms were clean and tidy.

The Beachcomber was out of the hustle & bustle of Mooloolaba itself but close enough/in walking distance of cafes, restaurants & Coles. Loved the location ... 2 minute walk to the beach. Spacious, clean & well equipped.

Ideal location, perfect for families

Very friendly and welcoming property managers, couldn't have been more helpful in advance of our trip when we asked for neighbouring rooms for our three separate bookings. Apartment was very well equipped with plenty of cups/glasses/crockery etc. Dishwasher powder, washing up liquid and laundry powder also provided in small amounts perfect for our 5 night stay. Location is perfect, direct access to beach and short stroll along shady boardwalk to shops/restaurants. Penthouse apartment has great roof area with plenty of shade. Lovely clean pool but not a lot of shade during the day. The only downside was the aircon wasnt particularly efficient which meant living room and main bedroom didnt drop below 26degs. Small bedroom was lovely at 21deg!

Good location, manager helpful and well equipped but room was very dated (from the 80’s!) mould on bathroom ceiling and a nasty smell in second bedroom. This is not luxury accommodation by any stretch of the imagination. We moved elsewhere.

Beachcomber - Location Location!

This resort is in the perfect position ... within walking distance to shops, cafes, surf club and the Marina. Well protected from the breeze and it's very pleasant sitting on the balcony watching the constant traffic on the Boardwalk. Lovely sandy beach right in front monitored by the Lifesavers. Our unit was a little tired (with broken furniture on the deck) and no Information Pack in the unit which I have already discussed with the onsite managers. Don't let this put you off, it's a great place to stay.
