「Didnt have a breakfast at hotel. Car park very large making parking easy. A lovely clean room and all staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 」

Room was spacious and yet cosy, and was cleaned daily. Property is in great location on the main road in Street. Plenty of free car parking at the rear . Loved the outside seating area . Will definitely be returning. 」

「Made an improvised stop to Dorchester on our way to the West Coast. The Bay Tree House was the first of many wonderful discoveries in the region. I would say, take more time to smell the roses and stay longer. This estabiahment is a great base for all your exploration.」

「Lovely setting in West Bexington. The manor is good value. People are lovely and Jordan is a great asset to the team. Food at venue is good and the Drinks available more than adequate. It’s an old hotel so don’t expect everything to be flash and ultra modern, however the atmosphere is homely and calm. Very dog friendly. 」

「Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place. 」
