"Everything was good except for a couple of items, a few windows without closing latches and the heating in the living room was inadequate. otherwise all good."

"We loved this hotel. The grounds, lobby, and rooms were all immaculate. Having the ruins right out back to explore was awesome. We were in close proximity to everything in town. The bathtub was lovely for a bubble bath; the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. I only had two small issues, neither are large enough to remove a star but I want to mention them anyway. I think either explaining at check-in or having a little sign in the room to explain that you have to insert your room key into a device on the wall to make the lights work would be helpful. maybe this is just ignorance on my part, but I had never seen that before, so I was completely lost and had to go back to the front desk to ask what to do. The second is the TV. I think all hotels at this point should have smart TVs. There is nothing on basic cable. We got to the hotel early in the day for the purpose of relaxing indoors all day after a busy few days of travel and it would have been nice to have more options for TV. Even with those issues I really can't complain as this is clearly a well-run and well-kept property, and we would be pleased to return."

Plenty of parking around back. Like most hotels in Ireland, there was no early check in, even an hour or so, which is annoying for travelers looking to clean up then go exploring the area."

Personally i hate automated check in and the pin numbers etc hadn't come through so I was stuck outside (with a couple of other new guests) for half an hour. No answer to the phone calls either. Real people might cost money but they determine how a place is perceived."
