"I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant with a garden that backs onto the river. Unfortunately, the night we stayed (Friday) it was closed. There didn’t seem to be that many options nearby. Our room was on the 2nd floor with no lift. The room was comfortable enough but very basic. The breakfast was an extra 10€ per person so I would not rate this hotel value for money. It did us for an overnight stop but I probably wouldn’t stay again."

"Clean property. Sauna was amazing - would have been better if there was a shower just outside just to cool down. Provided with us a card which allowed us to visit numbers of place free of cost - saved used around $$$. Issue checking in due to iPad not working (as no front desk available). The booking said they provide with a card which allows us to travel for free on local transport - never got it."

"We arrived at about 7:30pm and checked in. On going to the restaurant we found that the evening meal times were 18:00 - 19:00! However, the staff were very helpful and found us a table and we ate then. Bothe the room and the meal were very good, the breakfast too. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to try out the amenities. We would go again."

"Hochblauen has just been newly renovated and it does not disappoint. The new hotel is beautiful in every way. The wellness center is incredibly relaxing with breathtaking views. Speaking of views, you have them from literally every spot on this property. Just beauty as far as the eye can see in every direction. I can’t recommend this place enough. A special shout out to the staff at the restaurant/bar who are all extremely friendly and of course the hotel manager Mehmet who makes you feel like you are visiting him in his very own home. Go here. You won’t regret a single second of your stay."
