Nice place for a holiday stay

All in all, this is a nice place for an out-of-the-way location like Strahan. We were there only overnight so we probably would have been better off just booking a hotel room, but for a vacationing family on a budget, this would be a suitable place. The only real issue we had, typical in Australia, was spiders and cobwebs (and other insects) in the place, but the place was not overrun with them. Would stay here again under more appropriate circumstances.

The lovely lady at reception was very helpful/friendly and made us feel very welcome. Good location to town by car, apartment was nice and clean, and had every thing we needed. Only negative was the road noise during the day, but night time was nice and quiet.

Marsden Court Apartments were easy to locate in Strahan. Our apartment had everything we needed and more. The apartment was impressively clean and very well set out. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed in quiet surroundings.

This was a good sized room, clean, well presented and plenty of space for moving about. Interestingly the bed had a wool duvet which we like as they are more breathable and we have one at home.

The property, though dated, provided good accommodation at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided most amenities for the traveler. The only reason it got a lesser star rating was the shared laundry facilities. Though on the outskirts of Strahan, distance to the main town features were only a short car drive away.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view and welcoming friendly owners. Wish I could stay longer. Like many parts of Tasmania, the town is very quiet; not the place for nightlife! Try to drive in the daytime as the number of animals killed on the road on the way is distressing as it is in much of wild remote Tasmania (not rating that, just passing it along).

Wow! My entire family was impressed with Marsden court. We booked three seperate rooms and ALL of them were phenomenonal. Each one was well stocked and CLEAN. And well maintained. Nothing was broken or chipped or damaged. There was extra blankets if needed as well as tea and a kettle. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, perfect after a long day of hiking and driving. I called the facility late in the afternoon, to inquire about late check in. Pam was wonderful and super helpful and accommadating. She even asked if we needed a cot for our baby and had everythi g set up for us upon arrival after hours. My only regret is not being able to say thank you in person as we had to leave early in the morning the next day. I will be coming back and when i do. I will be booking here.
