Really comfy bed, great distance from the city centre and very affordable. Staff were friendly and our stay included a free breakfast every morning. Some noise could be heard from street below and from other rooms.

Great location and very friendly staff Rooms are small but very clean Good choices of breakfast buffet 5 minutes walk to metro Just some information If you are travelling from air port get two hour metro ticket and change at Stockholm central and changed to green line only one stop from Central station Catch either one of the trains going towards Hasselby Strand and get off at Radmansgatan. Very easy Julia at the reception gave some very good tips where to dine in when you go to old town I would highly recommend to get a booking at Aifur to feel the Vikings experience

Hotel Rex is a decent hotel in a convenient location. It provides a wide choice of food at breakfast. It doesn't provide extra facilities, but that is fine because it delivered what I expected. My room was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Not bad for the price

Basic but got things right considering the price range. Breakfast is good too. One minor stain, I was told Breakfast starts at 06:30, and got rudely told off by a kitchen staff (presumably) when arrived there in 06:40, maybe she's having a bad day but don't take it out on me.

The room was compact but very nice. The hotel is well located - away from touristy areas but in an area with many good restaurants. The hotel itself includes a wee acquainted breakfast in the room fee - and across the street is a sister hotel with a bar. The overall feel and vibe is fabulous. Far exceeded my expectations.

Great staff! Nice central clean basic room

The staff was super friendly, helpful, accommodating and fantastic. Excellent for the price. Room is a bit small and basic/no frills but perfect for my needs. Nice bathrooms with good shower and clean soft towels, clean sheets and soft comfortable bed. Central location, easy, convenient, clean, good breakfast, was able to get parking. Comfortable overall. Good number of plug outlets and watched tv. Very happy with my stay.

Bring ear plugs or ask for them at the reception!! No AC and my room was facing the street, so incredibly noisy! And what’s with the warm bathroom floor and towel rack in the summer! Heat was emitting from the bathroom…too hot for the month of June! Staff are friendly and Jonatan was my favourite! He was always friendly and gave us some really good tourists attractions recommendations. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and variety is great. Housekeeping came by everyday too and it was nice to return to a clean room every evening after a long day out and about. Again, kudos to the staff there who made the stay more pleasant despite the lack of AC and the loud city noise. Location is great and close to the metro station and even walking distance to central station.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is so close to the Metro, the breakfast was nice, the room was clean, etc. I was traveling solo so I stayed in what is essentially a small bungalow. Overall, it was fine as I don’t travel to sit in the hotel, but I do have to say this room was not perfect. There was no tub in the shower, which means the shower is right on the bathroom floor so it was virtually impossible to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. Also, the room had no chair, but it had a small desk. I really don’t think a small chair is too much to expect in a room. Also, there was one morning where I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging outside, yet the housekeeper knocked on my door at 8am. What’s the point of “Do Not Disturb” if you’re being disturbed? I sound like I’m complaining a lot but again, I overall like this hotel and would stay here again.

Property is an old but renovated building that is charming. It is on a quiet side street across a bigger sister hotel with the gym, sauna and restaurant. There is no thru traffic on this street. It feels like a pedestrian lane. Room - I stayed in a small single room, and it was very small, but adequate for my last minute short stay. It was clean and bathroom was designed in a way that didn't feel too cramped, but the shower was an interesting wet-bath type arrangement. Mattress was old and can sense the coils inside - needs to be updated. Need blackout curtains. Room overlooked inner courtyard and has good natural light and working window. Location - Excellent, immediately next to metro line which easily connects you all over very easily. Easy to learn metro system. Area has restaurants and grocery and some shopping but not in main busy downtown neighborhood. However, it is walkable to there if you wish. Service - staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well stocked. If you have to leave early they will make you a breakfast box. BUT you have to order it the night before which no one told me. The desk is not attended at night and you get in with your key, but the desk at the sister hotel across the lane IS attended 24h. There is an elevator!
