"Booked a sleepover getaway for my teenage daughter's birthday with a few friends. The kitchenette was perfect as the girls wanted to buy all sorts of snacks at walmart. So the microwave, large refrigerator, and diningware made this perfect for us. Having a sofa bed also allowed the girls to use the main beds. I was impressed by the breakfast in that it had many condiment/topping options to add to your items. The hotel is currently under some renovations and i received an email about it about a week prior. I called ahead of time to see if the indoor pool was effected by this. I was told it was still open. Sadly when we arrived, we were notified it was closed due to the heating element being out. Which was a bummer because it was one of the main factors on choosing this hotel. But we didnt let it deter our fun. The only other hiccup was that when checking in, i was asked to pay for the room. I thought i had already paid when i made the reservation through expedia, but didnt press it and paid. Later i found through my expedia that i had a receipt showing i did pay at booking. I informed the front desk and he saw the problem in their system but didnt now how to fix it and management was not there. Thankfully the regional manager was there in the morning and was able to resolve the issue and get me squared away! Though i do worry what would have happened if management wasnt there this morning, would it have become a bigger hassle on my end? Overall, it was a great stay! 8/10!"
