「The host Marko is very nice to pick us up at the airport, he and his sister are helpful to provide tips. Without his help it is quite hard to locate the place on your own if this is your first stop. The location is quite close to Pile Gate but the stairs leading up to it is tiring!!! The room is clean, live up to expectation, with a view of the Fort (that's why you have to climb). The kitchen facility is very good! 」

「If you have large luggage (think checked bags or oversized carryon sizes plus backpacks) you may not want to stay in old town. You can’t drive in there and we had to bring our 3 suitcase (one over 60 pounds) up and down about 12 flights of steep stairs. Also, there is ZERO signage of this unit and found it impossible to find. No front desk help or guaranteed courier service offered.」

「We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean, well prepared and nicely renovated, with everything you could need, including a well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in the top duplex apartment, which was very convenient for us. My son slept upstairs on the sofa, while I stayed downstairs in the bedroom, so we each had our own space. I also really enjoyed having a balcony. There is no real view from it, as another building is quite close in front, but this was expected and didn't bother...

「Got in late and the apartment was just as pictured on Expedia. In a great neighborhood. There was a beach, grocery store and bus stop all within a 5-10 minute walk. 」

「We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night. The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up. The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay....

「The apartment was amazing. High ceilings, lots of space, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is also bang in the centre of the old town which made it easy to get around. Hosts were very fast at responding as we had some issues with hot water but they replied to us quickly to help fix it. However there are few things to note if you're thinking of booking this apartment: The apartment is above a takeaway shop and lots of bars and restaurants so it is LOUD until about 11pm - midnight...
