"My stay at The Hood River Hotel was a quick one and more for convenience. I know it’s stated on the website but it’s something I missed and that’s that there is no parking. You have to pay to park on the street or pay to park in a lot around the corner. Minor irritation but not the end of the world. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and offered a pretty cool “mini bar” selection. It was fun for a nostalgic feel and that’s exactly what I wanted so it fit the bill for that. If you like cushy places with loads of amenities, not the place for you. If you appreciate vintage vibes and just need a place to lay your head and be near convenience (coffee, food and shopping) then this place is perfect!"

"Their A/c is off until the end of may when its 92 plus degrees outside the pool was closed it did not mention either of these things when booking and their appliances "are being replaced". The attendant did her best but she was crying when we got there the locals who live in the hotel were upset things had gotten bad as well. no screens on the windows but were told to open them up for the air. was there all of 10 mins and left to a much better place."

"I like the convenience of their ground level rooms for bringing in ski gear. The fridge and microwave are nice extras, and the HVAC system works great! The bed is very comfortable as well."

"They call it a “resort” yet no food or beverage facilities are open. We had to leave the property to find food. Also, we played for unlimited golf and due to limited staffing, the cart was needed to be returned by 5pm. Very disappointed. "
