「Always a great time! However, this was the first time that we could not use the outdoor hot tub as it was full of people with children; it was 8:30 pm- children are not supposed to be in there past 6 pm. Don’t get me wrong, we have children and we choose to have a break from children when we go to the lodge. 」

「All around great experience. Some things to take into consideration when staying in an old historic hotel…
1) Rooms are not as soundproofed.
2) Water and heating/cooling have a few quirks.
This is no fault of the hotel- the charm, ambience and scenery far outweigh those unavoidable items.」

「everything was pretty much as wonderful as I was hoping.
with a caveat. Yes it is wonderful to take a digital detox but... Please boost the Wi-Fi! The Wi-Fi gets spotty when too many devices start attaching. Not a problem if you don't want it but since the cell signals is low number bars, phone Wi-Fi calling is not available either.」
