「Very cute hotel! Located in secluded, quiet area that made for a relaxing stay. Loved the coffee delivered to room fresh and hot every morning. Enjoyed sitting by the firepit at night overlooking the pool area.」

「When booking it does offer if you pay a bit more it would include free breakfast but once you arrive it’s not free breakfast you only get $10 a day credit towards your stay and their breakfast items start at $12.00 for something very simple and you need to charge to your room so you can get your $10 credit for breakfast. We never used the credit so we ended up paying more for our room for no reason. You also pay $15 a day to park in their garage. While the location is near most downtown eateries...

「First off there was blood spatter on the wall and ceiling. Floors were covered in dirt and dead bugs. The kitchen area had grease all over the wall. The microwave was disgusting. It was a smoking room with no ash trays, and there was ash all over the bed sheets. Need i say more?」

「The property and location were fine, but not at the same level that Homewood suites usually are. The room kitchen was ill stocked, the dishwasher leaked, and I had to go to the front desk twice to get enough plates and silverware for the two of us. 「The Star on Spring was one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed! It smelled amazing. Every detail had been thought of, even the towels and hairdryers were top of the line! They made our anniversary trip so special. The area around the hotel is such a cute, up and coming place area. Lots to do within a few blocks. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know! Thanks for a great weekend!」

「Very clean rooms, EXTREMELY quiet that was so nice. The staff was helpful, I had made mistakes on my reservation but they helpfully accommodated to resolve them. The breakfast buffet was very lovely, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit. Room was clean and cool (I visited in summer) and dark. The only negative thing I would even have to come up with is they don't have the hot tub anymore, and if their pool is heated they need to turn it up a little in my opinion, haha!」
