"I originally had a better rating but after staying the night I did notice that the staff were using the blower to clear the front of the property a little after 7:00a.m. and it was loud enough to wake us up. I know that we were in one of the front rooms so nothing could be done about the traffic on the street but the noise from staff can be prevented. Also, people were checking in or coming in late and were very loud down the hall after 10:00p.m. Otherwise we had a nice stay."

"Everything was pretty great. Nice room with very comfortable bed. The room was very dark during sleep. Which is great. Most hotels have microwave,smoke detector,lights from hallways. This room had darkening drapes and to me, it makes it a much better sleep. The only issue i would say is the lack of a security number for contact. Apparently it is on the office door when the office is closed, but the number should be in the rooms."

"Rustic with updated touches. Very clean and quiet. We had a view of the forest behind and birch trees starting to color in front. The kitchen was spotless and appliances fine. The complimentary ground coffee was really good. There are some food options, and others close by. We were going to Grover hot springs for a dip, and came to stay here for the first time. We’ll be back."
