「Beautiful Place to stay when going to St.Thomas. Real chill and relaxing. Got a little busy on the beach from people getting off cruise ships. Only thing wish they had elevators and rooms outdated. Everything else was great!!!!」

「4/29-3/2 My stay at the Westin was extremely disappointing and did not meet expectations at all. This was far from a luxury experience. The room had a noticeable moldy smell and could definitely use a dehumidifier. I reported the issue, but no one ever came to address it, which made the stay very uncomfortable. 「Highly recommended. The room was clean and spacious, parking was a non issue, the staff did great making sure we had everything we needed from places to go and help with luggage. We stayed with our 2 kids ( 5 and 3 ), so absolutely great for family and/or solo.」

My only complaint would be the food at the restaurant. Ordered avocado toast and what I received was store bought guacamole and it was horrible. 「Bare bones hotel… not worth it for the price. Has a ton of potential if someone wanted to rehab/ clean it up. 」

「Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. 」

「The hotel is known for its views which are wonderful. However, the room was clean, but television was hard to work, sink had no drain catch, and no surface areas in the bathroom to place items. Would have appreciated a coffee pot because no coffee available until 8 AM. 」

「The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! 」
