This is a very basic hotel, not worth the price in my opinion. Conveniently situated in St. Simons near shops, restaurants and the pier. But the downside of the location was that my room was very noisy, as it overlooked a busy intersection.

Lower end motel in great location. Price was reasonable for expectations. John was very helpful at front desk. Did t like lawn equipment on saturday morning. St. Simons Village right there.

Traffic was a little loud, but with the AC on we were able to drown it out. Landscaping is lovely as was pool. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay again

Property touts being built in1948--looks like the last time they cleaned the property and the rooms. Horrible smell in the hallway and in our room on the second floor (no elevator). TV is flat screen but 20 years old. Shall I go on?

We reserved the room with the kitchen. The kitchen had very little as far as cooking utensils go. No blender, one pan, one cup Kurig. The rugs could use a good cleaning. Otherwise it was a cute place. Very old. We booked several rooms for a 40th birthday celebration. One of the rooms smelled of mold and could use a spruce up. There is no place to put your clothes away or shelves to set your bathroom supplies on. We loved how small and quaint the place was though. Brandon was very friendly and helpful when I called to make inquiries.

It's really noisy.. walls and ceiling are paper thin... and if I you're on the first floor you will hear everything above. I booked a week stay, and it was clear within a few hours that I was going to be checking out early the next morning. Which I did. I actually almost checked out the afternoon I checked in (but was too tired from 5 hours driving). Some other matters - whatever they used to clean the place has a really strong chemical odor. The cheap window blinds are hung really poorly and overall sloppy (I don't normally notice this sort of stuff and it doesn't normally bother me.. but it was so obvious here) Everyone is all crammed together in this "old apartment complex" looking place, and leaf blowers /noise from the street at all hours right outside your door... If you want to stay very close to the pier and loads of action then this is a good location. If you don't care about staying in a funky, run down noisy place, well then Queens Court will be fine for you. I don't really understand the "Excellent" reviews here on Expedia. I travel a lot, and I book on Expedia all the time. I'm not used to seeing these Great reviews (I read many of them) and then being completely baffled by them. ?? On a positive note - I will say that the staff was acommodating and polite. They totally understood my reason for leaving early and they didn't hassle me in submitting $500 refund for remaining days of reservation. That was a positive aspect of my experience here. Onwards.

We will definitely take all of your comments into consideration as we are always striving to improve. That said, ours is an older property, not an apartment complex, but a late 40s/1950s era motorcourt/inn. While for many of our guests this is part of the appeal of our property, we do recognize it may not be the best suited to everyone's needs, so we are happy to hear that our staff were accommodating with your request to check out early and providing the refund for the nights you did not stay. If you ever decide you'd like to give us another try in the future, though, we'd be happy to host you again!

I absolutely loved this stay. It was so fun. The staff was amazing, and it was very clean. It's an old property with a great feel to it. The other guests were also very nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved the property! If I’m going to be nitpicky, my only negatives were if you like to sleep in on vacation. Yard work, including gas leaf blowers, starting at 9 was frustrating. Then housekeeping knocking on door and opening it around 945 was very disturbing.

Our stay at Queens Court was just OK. It is an older motel that has been refurbished. Which is fine I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Especially in the bathroom area. The soap holders in the bathroom still had some soap scum on them. The showerhead was very dirty! And it was Dirty around the faucet at the sink. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. Walking through the room in bare feet, my feet were dirtier than they should have been!

We arrived early but was granted a room and given advice on nearby eateries. Queen's Court is an older venue, but has been refurbished although we had trouble with the lock on our room door. You cannot beat the value on this lodging unless you must be right on the seafront.

Room had a funny musty smell, room was clean and check in was good. Our original room had the heat break and they gave us a free up grade to kitchenette. The parking is challenging and limited and walking surfaces uneven so be careful in the dark. Noisy part of town at main intersection, lots of horns and yelling on a Friday night as there is a bar/restaurant across the street.

We stayed for the weekend and had a room with an attached kitchen: Refrigerator and Stove. The couch area had an old sofa over a very old area rug. The rug where the bed was located was also very old and gross. It’s a charming motel which needs to have the beds and living quarters updated.

One point of clarification regarding the decor: though our property is indeed an older one, none of the area rugs are older than a couple of years, though the vintage design may give the impression that they are older. However, we are sorry to hear that you found the rug in your room had not been cleaned properly and we offer our apologies for this issue. I was assigned a hadicapped accessible room. The room was very clean, was very small and there was no where to put my non-hanging clothes. No dresser, no drawers, no vanity in the bath...nothing. Also, I was expecting daily service in the room -- I don't recall anyone saying anything about limited service. The room was serviced once during my three night stay. The location is great. I don't mind a small room if I can keep organized, but that was impossible with no storage. I'm even fine with the limited service if I'm aware of it in advance. I generally like to work a bit, even on a trip to Saint Simons Island, and had to improvise a place and a way to conveniently set up my laptop.

First, regarding the size and functionality of the room, please know that we do offer other room types that may be better suited to your particular needs should you choose to stay with us in the future. As for housekeeping, there should not have been limited service during your stay and you should have received housekeeping daily so long as there was not a do-not-disturb sign hanging on your door.
