Upon check-in, we were met with hostility and accusatory comments from the manager who claimed we were “sneaking in” and said, “I could get shut down for this.” Despite explaining our situation with care, the manager dismissed our concerns and even responded to our mention of autism by saying, “I have a kid on the spectrum, so don’t you throw that in my face.” It was shocking, insensitive, and downright cruel.
We came here seeking rest and comfort—what we received was judgment and humiliation. This experience was not just inappropriate, it was harmful. Families with neurodivergent children deserve understanding and dignity, not to be shamed or gaslit.
If you are traveling with children or have specific needs that require compassion and professionalism, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
