The room was in great condition as was the hotel in general. Where things fell down were as follows: Each day the room was cleaned…things were missing…like the water bottle not being replaced. Mugs not cleaned properly. Sugars milks not topped up. (It’s little things that aren’t really noticeable but when you need them, they are noticed and inconvenient. So the attention to detail is important which seems to be missing). Also the buffet breakfast was very lack luster and unimaginative for vegetarians. Plus when you ordered anything hot from the chef…it took an absolute age to arrive…by which time you do think…what was the point of that. Avocado toast was can only be described as a hard crostini with 2 or 3 slices of avocado on it. Lacked any flavour / seasoning…no imagination or flare to it. Veggie sausages were also so bland and boring. If the food was ordered at high season when the hotel is busy…I don’t think the food would arrive until lunchtime! Lumi restaurant was excellent. All staff were very attentive and did a lot for us, which we are always very grateful for. The IHG had the biggest gym I have seen…which was amazing. The pool was extremely noisy! With kids running riot and their parents not seeming to care at all…so if you were hoping to relax after a massage or sauna…think again!

Comfortable and spacious room, nice bed, friendly staff and really good location. Breakfast was rather mediocre, slightly overpriced for its quality and variety. Housekeeping didn't clean the room on the first day, despite a visible request for it displayed on our door, but I absolutely loved their little gesture with a Valentine's rose and card left in the room for us.

Nightlife very active around the hotel with lots of clubs and bars but the soundproofing really did allow the kids to sleep without any disturbance. The hotel was excellent. Clean and modern. Room was spacious, excellent amenities and beds comfortable. Room had a mini fridge that could be used for drinks etc, kettle and coffee machine with coffee pods, hot chocolate and tea which was replenished everyday. Housekeeping was excellent, room cleaned everyday. Pool was fabulous, good size despite being on the rooftop. Lots of loungers with umbrellas for shade. Pool bar had great cocktails and snacks. Staff were friendly and efficient. Despite being in St Julian’s, the hotel was quiet at night. Plenty of shops and food options around the hotel. Beach was just a 2 minute walk. Big supermarket, 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend.

A very new, modern, clean, environmentally conscious, and comfortable hotel with easy access to everything you need (walking distance to restaurants, bars, clubs, and the beach). It is also connected via a bridge to the hotel and gym next door. Family of 4 with 2 teenagers, it was the perfect location for our week stay. Junior suite was super spacious, the decor was beautiful, bed was comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was good quality with a wide variety of choices. Would recommend to arrive before 9.30am to avoid the late rush and be seated. Most of all, the staff were amazing (reception, dining, bar, to house keeping). Attentive and polite, which is so important as they made our stay feel welcoming. Finally, the rooftop pool deck and bar area was relaxing with plenty of sun lounges and towels are provided. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

From the moment we arrived to when we departed for the airport the entire staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and professional. The morning breakfast buffet was wonderful, i was especially pleased with the ample vegetarian options! The location was good. Our room was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Das Hotel war schön gestaltet, das Zimmer war groß und vom 12. Stock aus hatte man einen schönen Ausblick auf Malta. Bei etwas stärkerem Wind hat es dennoch ziemlich im Zimmer bis auf den Flur hin gezogen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden auf dem Zimmer regelmäßig angerufen und nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt. Gerne hätten wir auch im Hotel gefrühstückt aber 30 € pro Person pro Nacht ist für die Preise des Frühstückangebots in der unmittelbaren Umgebung des Hotels deutlich zu teuer.

Im April 2025 eröffnet, ist das Voco eine hervorragende Basis für einen Malta-Aufenthalt mit stylischer Einrichtung, nettem und hillfsbereitem Personal, sauberen Zimmern, großartiger Auswahl zum Frühstück und vielen Annehmlichkeiten wie Rooftop-Pool (im Winter geschlossen) - und Hallenbad (im Hotel Intercontinental, via foot bridge erreichbar).
