「The hotel was wonderful, the staff were very kind and professional and always happy to assist. My room was overlooking the sea, stunning view and the dinning area was lovely with a stunning view of the sea also. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I hope to visit again. 」

「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay」

「No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26).」

「Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal. Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental. Other than that I would Highly recommend. 」

「We booked a night at this hotel with a spa. The hotel contacted Expedia to explain the spa was under renovations and out of use. Expedia did not give me the message. The sole reason for booking this hotel was because of the spa. Expedia failed in passing on the information. The hotel upgraded us and did everything they could to make the stay very enjoyable but Expedia let me down and I would like a refund from Expedia」

「Spotless. Resupply of milk, cookies and other water! Food fabulous! Just a tad noisy it carries, with bar, restaurant all the one room, no carpet but in the summer I am sure with doors open that would soon be fixed.」

「Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. 」

「Parking wasn't too bad in the Saxon Car park, however managing parking for the duration a bit of a faff to juggle without having to top up in the early hours. WiFi was disappointing especially with the cost of a very basic room. You'd expect it to be free as with many other locations. Even though you pay for it, it's very weak, which was a real pain as it kept dropping and you had to keep signing back in.」

「Nice position on complex and outside dining area. Plenty of room. Could do with small casserole type dish and a pair of oven gloves. Convenient for the area and enjoyed my stay.」
