"We had a fantastic stay. It is a peaceful place, surrounded by nature and a few orange cats, worth an extra miles on the road when you get to sit on the chairs of the garden to relax with the sound of birds! The property is modern, well taken care of, clean & confortable, we felt at home (+ big bedrooms & free parking!). We appreciated the warm yet discreet hospitality of the hosts. "The food options in the whole resort, Terme cates, was awful. We ended up paying and renting a car, which was not the plan, so we could have some decent food options. We were staying at a hotel there. Otherwise, everything was good and as we hoped for."

"Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."
