"WOW. We walked in and realized that there are security cameras everywhere and the fact that the caretaker was to stay with us is not advertised at all. "The house has a good location, easy to access the beach. The owner is super kind and helpful, we are vegan and asked for a vegan breakfast, they made every day different options and lots of fruits. So well done. The location provides a good view to the sea, and there are a lots of wild animals, also visiting the garden. It's also an experience. Overall its a good place."

"I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! Evening watching fireflies in the dark. The food both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Eric also helped book our safari trip witch was terrific!"

"Absolutely stunning hotel, highly recommend a sea view room here. Beautiful room, excellent view, even the gym is rooms including dance studio have ocean views! Rooftop pool overlooking the ocean is magnificent, with nice minima progressive house music playing. Staff are the best. Just book your stay already!"

"I stayed at Marino Beach Hotel for five nights recently and it was perfect. The staff made the biggest difference in my stay, they were friendly, available, and provided services immediately. This makes a big difference when you are jet lagged and need something early in the morning or late at night. During this trip, I happen to go to the other popular hotels in Colombo and realize how friendly and nice Marion’s staff were in comparison. The rooms were clean and staff was available to clean/help at all times. Hotel is attached to a mall so it made shopping and getting meals outside the hotel easy. There are plenty of restaurants around. Easy to get a taxi/uber. Beautiful roof top pool area, clean, secure, and with a view. The only complaint is that even though we had a sea facing balcony, the balcony smelt like food/kitchen fumes so we didn’t go outside at all. It would have been nice to seat outside and get some fresh air."

"First rate updated bathroom. Room was nicely renovated. Ocean view room worth extra. Breakfast on oceanfront veranda was bliss. Walking distance to mall convenient. Air conditioning great in room. Bar restaurant also had air con. Heat at outdoor veranda oppressively hot in evening—my opinion Recommend this place highly "
