The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

8/10 Good
"Great location. The restaurant was oddly hit or miss; most meals we had were fantastic, but one night was surprisingly mediocre. The room was cozy, but not quite comfy. The toilet didn’t have a lid, the sliding balcony door needed a lot of muscle to lock, and the a/c was a bit loud. Also, the housekeeping staff, while super friendly and helpful, started each day talking just outside our window… at 6:30."

"No hot water for the first two days of a three day stay. Staff was apologetic but still had no hot showers for two days. A great jumping off point for sequoia national Forest, food and fuel readily available in area. Would recommend this place as it was clean and convenient"
