If traveling March/April, cck weather/road conditions to see if you need chains, shoe traction. Google maps was NOT up to date. The lodge sent a warning too late to alert us of a road closure (so that a 45min drive became a 2+hr drive)

Excellent
The National Park is wonderful. Crescent Meadow Road was closed for no reason, road conditions were perfect. However this reduced visitors and we walked from Moro Rock to High Sierra Trailhead without seeing anyone. Trails could be better sign posted

Sequoia and Kings are 2 great visits. Hard to imagine getting around roads and oarkg in busy season.
"Had a late check in and didn’t realize the office closed early. Our check in was left in an envelope for our convenience for our late arrival! Thank you so much!"
"We initially had an issue with too much air freshener in our room and once we asked about it, the staff immediately put an ionizer in the room and took care of the problem completely. The restaurant served great food and very large portions. The bed and shower were great. Cleaning staff was incredibly friendly as were bartenders and wait staff."
"Perfect for what we wanted. Quiet and right in the park. It made getting around Kings Canyon and Sequoia Parks so much easier and saved a lot on drive times."
"An excellent and very picturesque family friendly stay to accompany our visit to Sequoia National Park. Sleeping in the airstream was such a cool experience and the pool was an added bonus for our two toddlers! "
