Tricky to find but lovely hotel, right near street food and nightclubs. We arrived late but we're made very welcome by staff. Room was great and very comfortable.

Great start to family vacation in Croatia
Great location, breakfast was amazing with lots of options, staff was super friendly, offerred directions and suggestions for day trips and could leave bags when waiting for ferry. Was quiet and well air conditioned given the heat. The courtyard was well maintained and there was live music one evening.

Hotel is small, quiet and clean. Excellent service, friendly staff! Very short walk to the old town and all the attractions. I whole-heartedly recommend for families and travellers who want friendly service and a good night's sleep!

The people running this hotel are amazing, wonderful humans. Everyone goes out of their way to help ensure your comfort and security. The location to the shopping, beach, nightlife etc, can’t be beat. You can not beat the price and location without sacrificing comfort and beauty.

reat hotel!
We had a great stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walking from Diocletian palace. We stayed in room 13 with a terrace, great choice. Beds were comfortable and so was the sofa bed. Bathroom was modern and showerhead worked well. WiFi worked throughout the building. The staff went out of its way to help us. Breakfast is fresh and eggs are cooked to taste. Don’t miss this gem.

Great Value (But Parking is an Issue)
The hotel is in a great location, only a few blocks from the waterfront but in a quiet area, however if you're driving, parking is a pain. The main lot is only 20 yards from the hotel but it's a public lot with not nearly enough spaces. We had to circle for about 15 minutes before someone pulled out and there as a lot of competition for that spot. But the hotel is nice, modern and great staff, I'd highly recommend it.

Wifi non existent in the bedroom Room very small - a double is 2 single beds pushed together and 1 side pushed up against the wall so you can’t get out easily. Design of hotel means that entertainment in the lobby area sounds like it is right outside your bedroom door - and we were on the top floor. Breakfast was terrible

Very well located. Breakfast was including and pretty good. Also the possibility to special breakfast such as crepes for free was really nice. Clean and nice personal. Parking really close and free. Everything was fine !

Hotel transfer from airport Split good and fair value. Reception nice and quick. Breakfast was okay. In front of bathroom wet stain which good bigger after showering. Strange smell of that stain.

Stay at Hotel Marul it is well worth it.
I spent 10 days in Croatia and stayed at 4 hotels, of the 4 Hotel Marul was my favorite. It's location was perfect, not to close to the center but in no way far. It was clean and the employees very friendly and accommodating. We even extended our stay at Hotel Marul for an extra day. Note, if you have a car there is a parking lot you can park in and it won't cost a thing. We enjoyed the dining area, it had a great breakfast and later in the evening you can try out different Croatian wines. It was a wonderful experience.

Amazing hospitality in a stunning setting
Our first time in Croatia and Split. What a superb hotel in a superb location. The old town and seaside promenade are all a very close walk. The staff are incredibly professional, speak brilliant English and are incredibly helpful. The room was very well appointed and beautifully clean. Great, comfortable beds and spacious with fantastic water pressure in the very modern shower. We needed to get to the Marina to board a yacht and one of the owners gave us a lift there in his own car and then offered the car to us to go and buy groceries etc. Amazing experience and highly recommend the hotel as they really are amazing people.

Excellent location and service. They picked us up from the ferry and took us back to the ferry which was a very nice and convenient service. Breakfast was good with very good cappuccino. And the people are so nice and kind.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant recommendations. Very convenient, ie walkable, for old town so a great base. Well appointed rooms, some (Superior category?) with balcony or terrace. Nice outside terrace. Parking in the car park by hotel; hotel pays parking costs however many times you come and go. Hotel clean but a little dated and tired. Main negative: breakfast mediocre - unexciting range of buffet food, juice from cartons undrinkable, though egg dishes ok. I’d prefer the hotel raised its prices a little or charged and produced a higher quality breakfast.

This place was really nice. Just a few minutes walk to the Old Town, but we were able to park our car for free in their lot that is just around the corner. I was under the impression that the hotel staff could do laundry, which is why we picked this place since it was halfway through our trip, but the laundromat was a private place just around the corner. It was no big deal to drop it off with them but something to be aware of if you are interested in laundry. The staff was excellent (one of their bartenders was particularly friendly and warm), the courtyard was a nice retreat, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here.

An ideal hotel to use in visiting Split
This hotel is situated a couple of blocks outside of Split's old town. The location is excellent and free parking is provided. There is no vehicle traffic or parking within the old city and the streets there are very narrow and a challenge to navigate.The free breakfast is very good with a wide selection of alternatives. The staff are helpful and the facility is very clean. In order to find this hotel follow the city "CENTAR" signs into Split. There are also a confectionery store close by as well as some very good restaurants. This is the ideal hotel to use in order to visit Split

Nice hotel, parking included, 3 minutes away from Diocletian's palace. Friendly staff. Nice garden. However prepare to bang your head against the ceilings if you get a room on the top floors. Spacious rooms with balconies. Good breakfast. Recommended.

Great small hotel
Lovely small hotel with very friendly staff. Great location just a few minutes walk from the Diocletian Palace. Breakfast in the garden restaurant was a beautiful way to start the day.
