"it's a very nice guesthouse (rather than a hotel) with friendly and helpful staff. Shared bathroom in the hallway but there are several of them on each floor and they are modern and were kept clean every day. Nice bar/restaurant with good breakfast. The hotel is one of the hotels thats the furthest away from Longyearbyen centre so it will be a long walk, about 30 minutes, to get to and from centre. But it is a nice walk and all the tours/events pick up at outside the hotel anyway."

"I loved my stay at Guesthouse 102. It’s converted from an old miners housing which is very cool! It’s super cute and cozy. Breakfast was lovely (the waffles were the best). The staff are wonderful - thank you Khristin for helping me with bookings tours - she was the best)! It’s about 1.5 mile walk to the city center and you have to take your shoes off before you enter, which I really appreciate (so bring some slippers or indoor shoes to wear). "Lovely stay! My mountain view was more of a view of the front entrance and parking with a tip of hill showing behind the building across the street. Not great, but super comfortable room and great tub! The local food was all delicious as well. I went to Kroa a couple times and the hotel restaurant as well but just for dinner. So good! "
