Not crazy about having to park so far from our room, front parking lot and have to go through the reception area and walk out the back to the room. The bed was VERY FIRM, felt like I was sleeping on a box springs covered with a sheet. Even tho it was clean & inexpensive I would not return primarily because of the hardness of the bed and the parking situation."

"Under renovations (which are needed!). The hot tub timer/jets did not work. It was not piping hot but adequate. The pool was nice. From our fourth floor room, you could hear traffic. The t.v. was on a dresser along the same wall as the bed so hubby had to pull the dresser out from the wall to be able to watch t.v. while in bed. Breakfast was typical fare. Lobby is good."

The current administration should invest funds in the National Parks, rather than divesting from them, and rather than spending untold, mismanaged, hundreds of millions on ballrooms and personal jets. This historied encampment deserves to be kept up in a more intentional way for our children and grandchildren. Can you imagine what Skyland would look like if just a handful of millions going toward a gilded jet were spent on the deep cleaning and deferred maintenance it requires? "
