Spangler Candy Store Museum and Tour Tours

We had a two night stay. The first night was fine, besides from the front desk man yelling at someone on the phone during our check in. He happily helped us after. Again, everything was fine the first night. Flash to the second night, it’s 11pm, my boyfriend and I get back from the wedding we attended and get comfy in bed. As we are sitting there, a cockroach is running on the wall above our bed. We catch it, packed all of our things and go to the front desk to explain. We CALMLY and KINDLY explain the situation to her and state we only would like a refund for the second evening, not the second. We stated we understand, things happen, however due to finding the cockroach, we would be leaving and would like a refund for the night. She took our information down and stated the owner would get to us on Monday. As we were about to leave, the man from the first day who yelled at someone on the phone, came out from the back and stated there was nothing they could do and we wouldn’t get a refund because it was already 11:30pm. I stated again to him, getting more firm, regardless of the time, we FOUND A COCKROACH and would be leaving. I stated I did not want to be rude, and I was NOT going to leave a review. But seeing how it’s almost a week out from our stay and no one has contacted me, nor returned my phone call, here we are. I have proof of our stay, and live pictures of the cockroach with time and location stamps. Thank you kindly.
