"stayed here lots of times always 5 star review, however this time was disappointed reduced food menu but then hadnt got some of it and at times felt the staff thought customers were an inconvenience"

"Have stayed at the Maritime hotel a few times now, the cleanliness of the rooms is very good, staff mostly are friendly and helpful. The hotel is being upgraded at the moment but there wasn't too much disruption. It's a nice, comfortable and friendly hotel. "

"Breakfast was awful. Room was OK. I guess you get what you pay for, though I wouldn’t have eaten the breakfast if they’d paid me!"

"Room was clean, but a little smelly after running the tap. Wardrobe was ridiculously small, like an armoir rather than a wardrobe. My dresses didn’t fit. Luckily radiator in bedroom was adjustable as it was very warm. Heaps of tea and coffee but we had to pop our fresh milk onto the windowsill outside as no fridge in room. Staff were excellent Slept well despite what appeared to be someone playing (badly) the last post on a cornet, down the hall."

"Could not get the wifi to work. Stuggled to close the bathroom door. The main room door had to be pushed shut even though it was a fire door with a self closure on it."

"Esk Vale was a lovely B&B. Our host was friendly and readily available. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Would definitely stay again. A walk to restaurants and water. "
