Southeast Georgia is a remarkable region characterized by grand old towns, sprawling marshlands and wide, sandy beaches. The region stretches from the Florida border to the southern banks of the Altamaha River. Experience Southeast Georgia on a road trip around the region’s destinations. The closest major airport is in Jacksonville, Florida.
