"Wife and I had an amazing time at the resort, we stayed in a deluxe pool villa. Room was incredible, super private and very upscale. Resort was clean, staff were great! Only downside is that if you are staying for a week, you may get a little bored as the Island itself does not have a ton going on. If relaxing is your goal, this is the place!!! pro tip, skip the massage on property and walk less than 100' down the beach, they are a third of the price @ 400 baht for full one hour beachside massage."

"Rooms: we had 2 rooms. Both renovated, clean and spotless. Hotel: little bit outdated. It shows it's age. Staff: really really nice, helpful, polite, ready to make your holiday comfortable. Fan, the gym instructor, was so friendly Pools: well maintained and clean Garden: well maintained Food: breakfast amazing. Options for meal and dinner. Suggestions: corridors and the building can do with a renovation. There are lots of kids around the pool. Having more activities/competitions/entertainment in the pool for kids and even for adults would make the trip memorable. Overall: Recommending this hotel unless you are expecting to see expensive decor and facade"

Ban's Diving Resort

"Our stay at Ban's was overall good, but with some inconvieniences. Starting with what we liked, the location was the best. Right in the middle of everything and walking distance for most things. We easily got around on foot and moped. The staff was helpful as well, and we appreciated the on-site convienece stores. The grounds were very pretty too. Breakfast was lovely, with a view of the beach as well. The things we disliked were the walls being very thin. Like extremely. We stayed far from the reception area, which meant quieter nights, but we could still hear our neighbors. Second, the pool was green. Like very green - the whole week. We tried to swim the first day but it didn't feel safe. The bathroom also had a bad sewage-y odor, and the water gor everywhere when showering. Not terrible, we kept the door closed for the smell, but unpleasant to be in there. Last, there were ants in the room and a few bugs. It's hard to control when in a tropical enviroment, but not very pleasant. Overall, a good stay but a few improvements would have made it great."
