「We were allowed to leave our bikes in the meeting room next to check in which was helpful. The rambling layout meant a long walk to our room. The decor is aging and fixtures dated but the room and halls were clean. Breakfast was not included in the rate making this stay more expensive than other, more amenable stops on our trip.」

「The hotel staff was kind, breakfast had good options. In general the hotel itself is very old and has a musty smell from the lobby to the rooms. I would not stay here again mainly because of this reason.」

「Basic at best. You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest motel I’ve stayed at. Shower temperature and pressure were good. Air conditioner was working but did turn on and off all night. Windows were taped shut and not able to open them. Ants in bathroom sink and a very musty smell. Would I stay here again? Nope.」

The hotel is pet-friendly, which made the stay even more convenient. Overall, a comfortable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Cornwall.」

「It was a welcomed stay as both my husband and I really needed a night away to relax. The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. 「The staff were friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately the room was quite disappointing. While it appeared reasonably clean, some of the bedding was stained and there was a strong unpleasant odor ( ancient cigarette smoke, I imagine) that only dissipated slightly with the air conditioner on blast. It appeared that renovations had been done recently, but definitely could have been done more professionally. The overall ambience was a bit sad, to be honest. Not bad for the price, overall, but...
