"This was my 5th stay at Jim Butler. It is my preferred hotel in Tonopah for it's central location and affordability. I stayed in #23, a double room on the first floor, which I have stayed in twice before. The remodel, which are great in rooms on the side of the building facing the Mitzpah Hotel are incomplete in this room, particularly the bathroom. The room comes with a nice sized mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Unfortunately, the bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned on this...

"It is a beautiful location convenient for hiking trails and the visitor's center. According to signage, updates are underway—they are needed. The place's stair treading is worn, and there is no elevator; this is important. The dining hall food was great! It's waitstaff was excellent. However, the menus and hours of operation were a little confusing. We will be back. "
